WA Branch Technical Event – Inspection on FPSOs

  • July 17, 2019
    5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The WA Branch will be meeting for a technical presentation from Woodside’s Jess Wallis and Paul Henderson on Inspection on FPSOs.

Jess has been with Woodside for just over 3 years and is currently acting as an inspection engineer within the FPSO team. She graduated from Curtin as an extractive metallurgist, and after a number of years destroying rocks in the desert, returned to Curtin to study a diploma in corrosion engineering. Since then she has taken a liking to the world of inspection and will be speaking regarding some of the challenges associated with managing the integrity of a selection of carbon steel systems with active damage mechanisms.

Paul has been with Woodside for under 3 years and is currently a graduate inspection engineer for one of the offshore FPSO assets. He graduated from the University of New South Wales with a dual chemical and materials engineering degree. He holds both API 570 and 510 certifications and will speak on positive microbial influence corrosion lessons gained.

Join us at this event for a chance to meet and mingle with like-minded corrosionists.
